Wild Rendezvous by Victoria Blisse

This story is written in the first person. It is also the third book in the “Rendezvous” series.

Leanna comes home from work to find Joe cooking for her. Their daughter, Lucy, is now starting to talk. We see them sharing the meal together. You also have to feel sorry for Joe because he seems to be having a hard time with things. And Victoria finally gives us what we wanted, after reading the first two books; they are going to make their relationship permanent.

It’s good to see that Joe still has his naughty side. I’m so jealous Leanna. What a way to spend an afternoon together. You may also get some ideas when you read this. Leanna also made me proud at one point in the story – you go girl!!

While Victoria hooks us into more of Leanna and Joe’s romance, she also gives us a life lesson. And Leanna is the perfect character to teach it to us. This was a great way to end the trilogy. It’s a trilogy where there is a happy ending. And Leanna and Joe celebrate their love in the best possible way. Now that all three books are out, you will want to go back and read them one after the other.

I give this book 4 1/2 stars.

Making It Real by Victoria Blisse

This is told in the first person.

Mary is seen posting in a forum called ThirtySomething. She finds someone that intrigues her, William Blake. We see that Mary is part of the wait staff at a local café and William is a young successful businessman. She’s also trying to write a novel.

While trying to write, and post to the forum, Mary has a fantasy about William – it’s very hot and sexy. We find that their “relationship” is long distance – she from England and him from America. They’ve been corresponding for a while and then she talks him into having some cyber-sex – don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it. Victoria writes one very hot scene there. It gets your own imagination going. She also surprised me in how she ended the scene.

There are a couple of sentences in the story where Mary talks about being an author. I almost think that this is actually Victoria talking. As a reader, we always wonder about the author that we’re reading.

There is a spanking scene within the story. If spanking is not your scene, don’t let that stop you from reading this story. It is very tastefully done. It will not offend. In any story that I have read of Victoria’s, her sex scenes are never over the top and don’t leave you wondering if that is even possible.

You will be surprised by a lot of the cyber-sex scenes by William and Mary’s alter egos. They will feed your romantic and hidden erotic side. It’s also interesting to see a little role reversal – you’ll understand as you read exactly what I mean.

Victoria writes in a scene where Mary and William have a picnic on a bed. It’s a very decadent scene. What a way to have a romantic interlude. It also may enrich your love life. This is also something I love about Victoria’s work; she certainly knows how to feed her reader’s imaginations.

She’s a great storyteller. Most of her female characters are Rubenesque but they are written for the women that are currently out there. They are not the thin model types that none of us can aspire to. We all have to love our curves.

Even though this is a story set around Christmas time, you could definitely change the setting to Valentine’s Day. It’s a story that you could read at any time of the year. Victoria also gives us a very surprising ending – totally unexpected. You will definitely want to read this story.

I give this book 4 1/2 stars.

Seductive Rendezvous by Victoria Blisse

This is the second book in the “Rubenesque Rendezvous” series.  It continues the story of Joe, Leanna, and Lucy that was started in “Naughty Rendezvous”.  If you love holiday romances, you will love this one.

In this story, the reader gets to see how much Leanna loves her daughter Lucy.  We also get to see that the heat between Joe and Leanna continues.  They know what they want from each other and aren’t shy about getting it.  Our couple’s feelings are so real and believable you stop thinking of them as characters in a story.

Leanna has issues that any single mom would have and Joe has the same types of feelings that any man, confronted by a baby, would have.  He’s just a man who wants to make sure that Leanna is happy.  And when they are by themselves, that all she feels is pleasure.

As you read this story, it may give you some interesting ideas of how you can celebrate with your own significant other.  That’s why the title is so apropos – the story is very seductive.  It’s also a story that will seduce you and leave you wanting more.

It can be read separately from the first book but I suggest reading the whole series.  This is a series you will want to read again – it’s a must have for your collection.  The sex is not forced on any scene and shouldn’t make you feel uncomfortable (spanking).  The scenes are beautifully written and the heat level goes up – you just can’t put it down.  You will definitely want to read the third book when it comes out.

I give “Seductive Rendezvous” 4 1/2 stars.

Naughty Rendezvous by Victoria Blisse

This story is written in the first person.  I’m not usually a fan of this style but for this story it works.  The author writes as if Leanna is talking directly to you.

Leanna has a 6 month old daughter Lucy.  Joe is someone who she’s met online.  You can tell right away the effect Joe has on Leanna.   Her mother is her only support system since a husband isn’t in the picture.

Leanna goes to meet Joe alone and they go back to her place where the heat gets turned up a notch.  I love how they find any excuse to “touch” while watch a football (British) game.  We also find out that Joe is considered a Dom.  Leanna lets Joe control the sex they are about to have.  If you own a dining area, you may change your mind about how you use it.

They then continue into the bedroom.  Joe lets Leanna know that he finds her beautiful.  I was sorry to see this story end.  They compliment each other very well.

It was the perfect short story but I’m an incorrigible romantic.  I wanted to see how Joe interacts with Lucy and if they continue to see each other.  I also want to see if they get their “happily ever after”.

If you like erotic romances, you will definitely want to read this one.  If you don’t like reading BDSM, this may change your mind.  It’s done very well and not “in your face” and it doesn’t dominate (sorry about the pun) the story.  I can’t wait to read more of Victoria Blisse’s work.

I give this story 4 1/2 stars (or in this case flames).
