Here is another book that I used to test my borrowing of an e-book from my local library. When looking for a book, I noticed how popular that the romance novels are for borrowing. Most of the e-books they had available were already checked out.
You will want to start your book by reading Leslie’s note to readers.
“Night Whispers” is a late night Baltimore radio show. The hostess of the show is named “Lady Love”. She hosts a very sexy night time radio show. She has topics that have everyone stopping to listen. This is a story that I would love to hear in an audiobook. Just so that I can hear how sultry Lady Love is to her audience. It would also make me feel as if I was a part of her audience.
Mitch Wymore has just returned from China and finds his home changed. Kelsey Logan is the one responsible for those changes. Mitch grew up with Kelsey and is now her landlord. They seem to be polar opposites. Mitch is writing an anthropology textbook and Kelsey is a radio personality.
Leslie is very good at building the anticipation between Mitch and Kelsey. It is most certainly a page turner. Mitch is very protective of Kelsey. But is it as a brother or as a lover? Does he even know?
Leslie’s story is a little different than some other that I have read. Usually it’s the man that holds out but Leslie has that going to the woman. Their heat ignites just like the storm that is brewing. Leslie shows that feelings are important between the man and woman.
I’m glad that I was able to check this book out. I may not have discovered Leslie any other way. You will be glad if you read this book too.
